Papercrete Floats

Papercrete Floats are handmade fixtures made using recycled paper that provide a diffused ambient light.

Papercrete has a quality that allows us to create solid sculptural forms beyond the limitations posed by other types of concrete mixes. 

This series is an exploration of a moment frozen in time, imagined as a soft form billowing in the breeze, or flowing as water across rocks.

The resulting pieces are unique sculptural forms juxtaposed with an elegant metal detail that lights up the form, elevating the texture of the papercrete.
